Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) Public Comment
The DEIS is now available for public comment. The public comment period ends on June 15, 2020.
The Comprehensive Plan is a statement of goals and policies that outlines the community’s vision for the future. The Plan guides city decisions on where to locate new jobs and build housing, how to improve the transportation system and where to make capital investments – from animal shelters and libraries to sidewalks and utilities for water.
Pasco has grown rapidly (current population: 75,000) and by the year 2038 we will be home to over 120,000 people. The plan considers population and employment growth and how public facilities and services will be provided to accommodate that growth.

Under RCW 36.70A.020, the GMA established a series of 13 goals that should act as the basis of all comprehensive plans.
